For the past 5 decades, Yuan Tsur has photographed an extensive array of people and events throughout the world. His work has been a part of exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MOMA), and includes celebrities such as Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal and Daryl Hannah. Tsur holds an academic degree in photography and utilizes a "fast", loose style, and often chooses to shoot in areas that include minorities, youth gangs, and scenes from everyday urban life. Originally from Isreal, Tsur has lived and worked throughout the US since his arrival in the early 1980's. He is currently working with a street photography collective in North Carolina, where other artists are able to learn from his techniques and extensive body of work.
